In today's competitive market, companies must make candidates feel valued from the first interaction. The simpler and more user-friendly the application process, the better the results. This is driving a gradual shift in companies: moving away from traditional contact forms and online questionnaires towards mobile and digital recruiting solutions.
What could make more sense than adding a channel to your recruiting process that is used by millions of people every day?
Applying via WhatsApp offers advantages for all stakeholders involved in the process. For both HR departments and applicants, the time required for the application is massively reduced. In addition, previously existing application barriers for candidates can be effectively minimized. This also provides a comfortable and user-friendly way for target groups who are less familiar with PCs to submit their applications.
Thanks to the predefined, targeted conversation flow, recruiters have an effective tool at hand to obtain a candidate’s complete application documents right from the start. This eliminates the resource-intensive need to follow up on missing documents.
Last but not least, utilising WhatsApp as a recruiting channel enables companies to present themselves as innovative employers and potentially gain a competitive advantage. The direct dialogue with candidates also adds a more personal touch to the application process, further enhancing the candidate experience.
BITE GmbH also offers the option of using a WhatsApp feature for the BITE Bewerbermanager.
Based on our NIIID chatbot technology, the feature enables candidates to apply directly via WhatsApp, with all application data and attachments automatically stored in the BITE Bewerbermanager. Each conversation flow is customized to match the client’s corporate communication strategy, ensuring consistent brand communication.
In addition, the individual chat history is listed in the detailed view of the corresponding applicant. HR managers can write additional chat messages directly from the detailed view, which are then also saved in the chat history. Delivery and read receipts always inform users whether the message has already been received by the applicant. This increases transparency and ensures traceability, while also offering both parties the opportunity to conduct the entire communication exclusively via WhatsApp, which, in contrast to traditional email communication, leads to a significant reduction in response time.
Of course, in developing the new feature, it was also ensured that all DSGVO requirements are fully complied with and implemented, which is why it is entirely based on the WhatsApp Business API.
Our many years of experience have shown us that no organization is the same, which is why we explicitly take your individual needs and requirements into account when preparing your offer.
